RUGGED MANIAC OBSTACLE DESIGN CHALLENGE
Ever wonder how our obstacles come to life? Now is your chance to be part of the process. Introducing the Rugged Maniac Obstacle Design Contest! Building on the 25+ iconic obstacles we already possess, we’re looking to grow the Rugged Maniac arsenal with another glorious monument to bask in the shadow of Mount Maniac. That’s where you come in.
We’re putting a call out for drawings, sketches, stick figure doodles, and more to become the next big Rugged Maniac obstacle. Let your creativity reign and see where your mind takes you. Inspiration can come from anywhere. Maybe you’re bored working from home or waiting for a friend at the bar and all you have is a pen and a damp napkin. If it’s legible, we’ll take it. Plus, the winning design will be eligible for an ultimate grand prize (details below). The next great Rugged Maniac obstacle is out there and ready to be unleashed. Take the mantle and share your vision with the world.

HOW TO ENTER
Draw, sketch, map, or doodle your obstacle creation, using any creative process and tool you are most comfortable with. Once complete, submit a photo, screenshot, or file of your obstacle using the link below.
DETAILS & CRITERIA
- The contest will be held from January 17, 2022 until February 4, 2022
- The winning obstacle will be selected by the Rugged Maniac team, and the winning obstacle will be announced on March 1, 2022
- Inflatable obstacle designs will not be considered
- Obstacles must not be larger than 30’x30′, or taller than 15′
- Obstacles must have a distinguished entrance and exit
- If the obstacle is designed to be underground, it must not be deeper than 4′ in the ground
- Obstacles must be able to be disassembled and transported
